Rethinking Meat

How will science and technology play a role in feeding over nine billion people by 2050? From May 14 to 17 I hope to learn more about real food science breakthroughs in areas like sustainability, food safety, nutrition, and agriculture at the Sustainable Food Institute at Monterey Bay Aquarium. I recently talked to one of the speakers on the agenda, Isha Datar, of New Harvest, who says cultured meat will play a much larger role in our future food system.
